REMEMBERING CAPTAIN FARLEY

In the early morning hours of May 24, 2015, Captain Jason Farley of the Claremore Oklahoma Fire Department, along with other firefighters, was attempting to rescue a family from flood waters.  He slipped into the drainage ditch, and attempts by other rescue workers to save him were unsuccessful.  His ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.  On May 25, 2015 at approximately 11:45pm, I recorded this video as the community and first responders from all over Northeast Oklahoma welcomed home his wife and daughter, who were out of the country when the accident occurred.  Our thoughts are with his friends, family and colleagues at this unimaginably difficult time.
